General Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions is an e-commerce website (hereafter “the website”) that sells home decoration and/or interior design items (hereafter “the products”).

A customer (hereafter “the customer”) is any person who visits one or more pages of the Website, whether or not an order is placed in the process. is the property of Yvon LUNEAU (hereafter SHOHAN), freelance designer, located at 4 place du 11 novembre, 92240 MALAKOFF, France, and registered under SIRET number 87962671100011.

Art.1 – Object and scope:

The following Terms & Conditions govern the distance selling of decoration products issued by SHOHAN. They apply unrestrictedly to all commercial relationships between SHOHAN and any individual having an account on

When ordering a product on the website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions by ticking the box « I read the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them without restrictions », when filling in the order form. Ticking this box is proof that you accept the Terms and Conditions.

Products governed by the following Terms & Conditions are sold in the following areas:

- mainland France, Corsica, and French overseas departments and territories

- European Union, Switzerland and Norway

SHOHAN reserves the right to amend or change the Terms & Conditions at any time.

Art.2 – Description of products :

Products sold on are all exclusively created by SHOHAN and made in EEC.

Descriptions of products are accurate, but all the product information and photos provided are guidelines only.

Weights and sizes are maximum values reported for each type of Product.

The colours of the Products displayed on the photos and/or on your screen are guidelines only because they can vary according to printing, settings or the type of browser you use. The exact colours you can expect are those from the RAL colour-chart ( :

SHOHAN cannot be responsible for any mistake or bad interpretation of the information provided on the website.

Every customer is entitled to a withdrawal period of 7 days (see art. 7), in case the products are not in accordance with the product information, or if this information is inaccurate.

Art.3 - Prices :

Indicated prices include all taxes and are stated in euros.

Prices do not include shipping costs, which are billed extra, according to the weight of products and the final amount of the order. As soon as the ordering process has started, those costs are indicated in your basket on the website.

SHOHAN reserves the right to change the price of the products at any time. The guaranteed price is the one stated online when the order was registered.

Art.4 – Purchase and payment conditions :

Customers can purchase items in three different ways:

- Online at by debit or credit card or bank transfer.

- By phone, Monday-Friday 10:00 – 12:30 am, by check; please call + 33 6 82 14 00 63.

- By post: LUNEAU Yvon, 4 place du 11 novembre, 92240 MALAKOFF, France, also by cheque.

Whichever way you choose to do it, by making your payment, you guarantee you have full authorization to use the card or chequebook used for payment ; that you have the necessary financial means to buy the products you order and cover related expenses like shipping costs ; and that you are of age and have full legal capacity.

For all debit or credit card payments, SHOHAN chooses to use PAYPAL and STRIPE. (secure payments)

SHOHAN only accepts cheques made out in euros and in French, drawn from a French bank and sent within 8 days following the placement of the order.

Orders paid for bank transfer are processed once the payment has arrived on SHOHAN’s bank account. Delivery delays indicated (7 or 30 working days at the most) do not include the time required to cash the amounts due for the order.

The website will confirm to you all the stages of the transaction by email or by post when required. The data is registered as proof of the relationship between you and SHOHAN.

SHOHAN reserves the right to refuse any order from any customer with whom there would be in disagreement, at any time and without justification.

Art.5 – Availability of products :

Availability is specified for all products sold on the website; it is stated according to an average shipping time.

When a product is available “in stock”, it means it is present in SHOHAN’s stock.

When a product is available “on demand”, it means that SHOHAN’s partner manufacturers are capable of producing the item within the standard deadline.

In case of unforeseen events, SHOHAN cannot be responsible if the average shipping time is not respected.

SHOHAN will inform you by phone or email if there is any delay in shipping or if a product becomes unavailable after your order was placed. You can either change your order or cancel it within 48 hours following the order. If you already made the payment, it will be refunded within 30 days.

Art.6 - Livraison :

Delivery delays

When you buy a product available “in stock”, it will be shipped within 5 working days (excluding week-ends and bank holidays).

When you buy a product available “on demand”, it will be shipped within 30 days.

NB : Between July 15th and August 30th, and December 22nd and 31st, delivery periods can be longer due to the fact that SHOHAN Design’s partner manufacturers can be on holiday. In such a case, you will be informed by email of the applicable delivery period.

SHOHAN cannot be held responsible by the customer for exceptional delays imputable to the chosen delivery company or to the manufacturer.

Shipping options

The following options are valid regardless of the delivery period (which is 5 working days when the product is “in stock” and 30 working days when it is “on demand”).

The products will be shipped to the delivery address you indicated when you placed your order. All shipping requests outside our standard shipping areas (see art. 1) must previously be accepted by SHOHAN and will be processed in a specific way.

Indicated shipping costs include all taxes and will be mentioned on your invoice.

SHOHAN is free to choose a delivery company:

  • For parcels under 30kg: La Poste (Colissimo)
  • For parcels over 30kg: a delivery company chosen by SHOHAN

The order will be delivered against your signature at the delivery address you indicated.

In case you are not home, you can either collect your parcel at your local post office with 15 days after the attempt delivery notice was left, or it will be redelivered to you according to the terms of the chosen company. If you do not collect your parcel before the deadline, it will be returned to SHOHAN. In such a case, you should contact SHOHAN to find a solution (either redelivery or refund).

The customer or the person receiving the order must check the parcel when it arrives, in presence of the delivery person. If it has obviously been open or damaged, the recipient should either demand that the damages be mentioned on the receiving slip, or refuse to take the parcel. The customer should then inform SHOHAN by email or by registered post with acknowledgement of receipt within 48 hours (working days only) following the attempt delivery of the parcel.

If you do not receive your parcel within the stated time frames, you must contact your local post office or inform SHOHAN – when necessary – who will then contact the delivery company for further information. You will be informed of the reasons of the delay and we will provide you with a solution.

Free delivery by appointment in Paris and neighboring towns of 92 and 94.

The withdrawal of orders by appointment in Paris and in the neighboring towns of Hauts-de-Seine and Val de Marne is completely free for the Buyer. It is done by appointment in a place agreed between SHOHAN and the Buyer. The date, time and place of the meeting is agreed by exchange of emails.

Art.7 – Right of withdrawal :

You can exercise your right of withdrawal according to article L 121-120 of the French Code de la Consommation, within 14 days after the order was received.

Any return must have been previously authorized by SHOHAN; you will receive an email or a letter to confirm the return, after you have requested it by email or registered post with acknowledgment of receipt. You can address you return here:

The refund will be made via bank transfer or cheque within 30 days after reception of the items returned by SHOHAN.

Your right of withdrawal does not apply in the following situations:

  • If the products have obviously been used
  • If the products have been damaged by accident (shocks, scratches, etc.)
  • If the products have been inadequately used and subsequently damaged
  • If the products have been altered or repaired by the customer or by any third party
  • If the items have not been sent back correctly packed and/or if some accessories or documents are missing

Extra costs and risks related to the return of the product are at your expense. If the package is damaged during the return, it will not be accepted.

Art.8 – Disclaimer of warranty :

If the product exhibits a hidden defect or is not in accordance with the product information provided on the website, it can be replaced – if available – or refunded.

In such a case, you should inform SHOHAN by email or by phone within 7 days after you received the parcel. The product must be returned within 7 days after you made the claim.

Warranty does not apply:

  • If the products have been damaged during transportation
  • If the products have been damaged by accident (shocks, scratches, etc.)
  • If the products have been inadequately used and subsequently damaged
  • If the products were altered or repaired by you or any third party

All returns must have been previously authorized by SHOHAN; an authorization will be sent to you by email or by post after you requested it by email or registered post with acknowledgment of receipt.

The product must be returned in its original package and in perfect condition for repackaging. If the item’s package has been damaged during transportation, it will not be accepted.

Transportation costs for returning the product will be paid for by SHOHAN, as long as you provide a copy of the corresponding invoice (based on La Poste’s Colissimo fees). Any extra cost will be at your charge.

Refund for the product – with or without transportation costs – will be made by cheque or bank transfer within 30 days after reception of the product.

Art.9 – Intellectual property:

Customers agree to respect all of SHOHAN’s intellectual property rights.

All products sold on the website are intellectual property of the designers quoted in the product information. As exclusive owner of exploitation right, SHOHAN represents them.

All texts, maps, descriptions, documents, sketches and images related to the products and the marketing of those products is SHOHAN’s exclusive property.

Any unauthorized partial or total reproduction is forbidden.

Any use must previously be approved by SHOHAN following a written request.

Art.10 - Privacy :

SHOHAN agrees to keep all information disclosed by the customer private.

Personal information will only be used in the context of the commercial relationship between SHOHAH and the customer. It will not be sold, rented or given to any third party. By simple request, the customer can be excluded from SHOHAN’s customer list at any moment.

SHOHAN’s customer list is registered at the CNIL under the number 1566884.

Art.11 – Liabilities and litigation:

SHOHAN cannot be held responsible for any indirect damage resulting from the purchase of the products.

Texts and photographs are not contractual; therefore, SHOHAN cannot be liable for any mistake detected in those documents, nor can it be liable for the interpretations arising from them.

SHOHAN cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from inappropriate use or bad maintenance of its products, whatever the nature of the damage may be.

Any compensation for SHOHAN’s responsibility will be limited to an amount matching the one paid during the concerned transaction.

Art.12 – Applicable law and jurisdiction :

The above Terms & Conditions and all activities carried out by SHOHAN are governed by French law.

In the event of disputes following an order, the Buyer may have recourse to a consumer mediator via the European platform:

Any claim following an order is exclusively dealt with by the Tribunal de Commerce of Nanterre, where SHOHAN Edition SARL is registered.
