Old American science fiction comics are monuments of pop culture. From the 1940s to the 1970s, the universe and the conquest of space aroused a boundless imagination in designers. Kitsch is at its peak here: astronauts in skin-tight suits with aquariums and antennae on their heads, ships and weapons with the most unusual gadgets and shapes... The monsters and extra-terrestrials are particularly diverse: sprawling, runny, mechanical… In this field, Flash Gordon is a “masterpiece”.

Like the SF woman model, it is in homage to this somewhat forgotten literary genre that this pair of bookends was designed.

Made of 1.5mm bent steel, this pair of bookends is strong and practical. With its 25cm height, it will effectively hold your comics. Its 15cm depth will not damage the edges of your books.
