First comic book meeting in Malakoff on September 30

The comic strip honored at the southern gates of Paris.

Malakoff has always been a very culturally sensitive city. The national stage theatre, the cinema, the media library, the Maison des Arts, two bookshops and many cultural associations bear witness to this. Many artists, writers, draftsmen, architects and other designers have been living here for many years.

The relaxed village atmosphere of this city at the gates of Paris has something to seduce!

Zyndar, a second-hand comic book bookstore at the initiative of the event.

Zyndar is «a bookstore of second-hand books, comics and small formats, where people and books find a second youth». Comics, Franco-Belgian comics, Manga, figurines, etc., this bookstore is a gold mine with rarities difficult to find elsewhere. Dominique, his bookseller, is also a connoisseur. Whether you are a fan or a layman, he will advise you with sympathy. And as he wants to share his passion even more, he decided to organize a first comic book meeting in his adopted city.

Cartoonists, authors, publishers, booksellers, designers, cosplayers and Tintin as guest of honor!

This Saturday, September 30, 2023, between the Place du 11 novembre, La Tréso and the Malakoff media library, come and spend a day under the sign of comics!

To come ? It's quite simple: take metro line 13 and get off at Malakoff Plateau de Vanves station and it's a 300 meter walk.

Being a malakofiot and designer of bookends, I had to be part of it. My large-format and manga bookends, as well as my life-size Kitsune and Holmes silhouettes will be on display.
